Nextiva specializes in internet fax service for individuals and small businesses. Like other internet fax services, Nextiva does not require any specialized hardware and the internet fax service can be accessed from almost anywhere.

Fax Process

Nextiva has a program that must be installed if you want it to work with your email service. Once the program is installed, your email can function like a fax machine. It can send faxes simply by putting the fax number in place of a recipient's email address. The program allows these faxes to be stored in your email account or the user can download them to their computer?s hard drive.

Nextiva can also be accessed through their website. Like other internet fax service providers, the website portal allows you to check incoming faxes and send outgoing faxes. Nextiva also has integrated their fax system with cell phones, allowing you to access faxes on the go.

Nextiva fax is integrated with Microsoft Office and allows you to send faxes through the Microsoft applications. This prevents the user from having to save the file, then send it through a fax. Instead, the file can simply be sent through the Microsoft program. It simplifies a step.

Features

Nextiva allows the user to send and receive faxes through several methods including; email, internet, cell phone, and PDA.
